From Struggle to Success: Your Child's Successful Academic Journey Begins Here

If your child struggles with school, the worry and nightly homework battles feel heavy. You're not alone—there is hope.

At Key to Literacy, we help children with dyslexia, ADHD, and learning differences reach their full potential. We rebuild confidence, spark curiosity, and give families peace with personalized, caring support tailored to each child.

Meet Bruna Iasi:
Founder & Learning Specialist

Bruna Iasi founded Key to Literacy in 2019 to offer the personalized, transformative support she once searched for herself.

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Bruna worked as a clinical nutritionist and university professor before moving to the U.S. in 2013. As a full-time parent, she experienced firsthand the challenges families face seeking real help for children who learn differently.

That experience changed everything.

A passionate "library hunter" wherever she travels, Bruna pursued advanced certifications in Structured Literacy and ADHD Education, plus Educational Leadership training from Harvard. She founded Key to Literacy to provide evidence-based, heart-centered intervention that every child deserves.

Today, Bruna works with families and schools, providing reading intervention, teacher training, and parent guidance in English and Portuguese—bringing warmth, expertise, and unwavering belief in every child's potential.

Credentials & Expertise

Our Philosophy: More Than Just a Program

At Key to Literacy, we believe that helping a child succeed takes more than following a program. It takes real people who care deeply, understand the science of learning differences, and bring both expertise and heart to every session through tailor-made programs.

Our approach blends:

Evidence-Based Methods

We use proven Structured Literacy and Orton-Gillingham techniques backed by decades of research.

Heart-Centered Care

We see the whole child, not just their challenges. We build relationships, celebrate progress, and create a safe space where kids feel understood.

Family Partnership

We work closely with parents and schools, attending meetings, communicating regularly, and helping you advocate for your child.

The Orton-Gillingham Approach: Why It Works

Traditional teaching methods often fail children with dyslexia and ADHD. They need something different.

  • Skills build systematically, step by step, creating a strong foundation

  • Engaging sight, sound, touch, and movement to make learning stick

  • No guessing. Every concept is taught clearly and practiced until mastered

  • Respecting your child's unique learning profile, moving forward when they're ready

  • Continuously assessing and adjusting to meet your child's needs

This is not a quick fix. It’s a structured, research-based approach built over decades. When it’s paired with real understanding and careful support, the change is not just visible—it lasts.

Testimonials

Real Results That Matter

Our families see measurable progress:

  • Children reading on grade level who were previously behind

  • School recognition of improved skills and confidence

  • 77+ point gains on iReady assessments

  • Students going from struggling to thriving in their classrooms

  • Drastic attitude changes toward reading and academics

But numbers only tell part of the story. What matters most is what happens over time: reading becomes less effortful, confidence increases, and children begin to choose books on their own.
