From Struggle to Success:
Your Child's Successful Journey Begins Here

If your child struggles with learning or keeping up with school activities, you know the weight of worry. The nightly homework battles. The frustration in their eyes. The fear of falling further behind.

You're not alone, and more importantly, there's real hope.

At Key to Literacy, we specialize in helping children with dyslexia, ADHD, and learning differences discover their real learning potential. We don't just teach academics. We rebuild confidence, reignite curiosity, and help families find peace knowing they have the right support.

Our approach is tailor-made, designed specifically for your child's needs. Because helping a child succeed takes more than a program. It takes people who truly care and understand.

Meet Bruna Iasi:
Founder & Learning Specialist

Bruna Iasi founded Key to Literacy in 2019 with a clear mission: to offer the kind of personalized, transformative support she once searched for herself.

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Bruna brings a unique perspective to her work. Before specializing in learning differences, she graduated with a Bachelor's in Nutrition Science. She spent years as a clinical nutritionist and university professor, developing a deep understanding of child development and the importance of personalized care. When she moved to the U.S. and became a full-time parent in 2013, she experienced firsthand the challenges families face when seeking real help for children who learn differently.

That experience changed everything.

Bruna, who has always been passionate about books (a "library hunter” whenever she travels anywhere new), pursued advanced certifications in Structured Literacy and ADHD Education, as well as Educational Leadership training from Harvard. In 2019, she founded Key to Literacy in Key Biscayne to provide families with the evidence-based, heart-centered intervention she believes every child deserves.

Today, Bruna works with both families and schools throughout Miami, providing personalized reading intervention, teacher training, and parent guidance. She serves Multicultural families in English and Portuguese, bringing warmth, expertise, and an unwavering belief in every child's potential.

Our Philosophy: More Than Just a Program

At Key to Literacy, we believe that helping a child succeed takes more than following a program. It takes real people who care deeply, understand the science of learning differences, and bring both expertise and heart to every session through tailor-made programs.

Our approach blends:

Evidence-Based Methods:

We use proven Structured Literacy and Orton-Gillingham techniques backed by decades of research.

Heart-Centered Care:

We see the whole child, not just their challenges. We build relationships, celebrate progress, and create a safe space where kids feel understood.

Family Partnership:

We work closely with parents and schools, attending meetings, communicating regularly, and helping you advocate for your child.

Equity in Education:

We believe every child deserves access to expert intervention, regardless of their background or learning profile.

This combination of science, empathy, and strategy is what makes real transformation possible.

The
Orton-Gillingham Approach:
Why It Works

Traditional teaching methods often fail children with dyslexia and ADHD. They need something different.

Structured & Sequential

Skills build systematically, step by step, creating a strong foundation

Multi-Sensory

Engaging sight, sound, touch, and movement to make learning stick

Explicit & Direct

No guessing. Every concept is taught clearly and practiced until mastered

Personalized Pacing

Respecting your child's unique learning profile, moving forward when they're ready

Diagnostic & Prescriptive

Continuously assessing and adjusting to meet your child's needs

This isn't a quick fix. It's a proven methodology backed by decades of research. And when combined with genuine care and understanding, it creates lasting change.

  • "Last night I went to bed feeling like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. We found the help he needs."

    Kindergarten student's Mom

  • "She scored 77 points on iReady! I'm crying with emotion."

    3rd grader bilingual student's Mom

  • "He did it! This boy has worked so incredibly hard and you have been his rock, Bruna!"

    3rd grader dyslexic / ADHD student's Mom

  • "The school director said Bruna has an amazing OG foundation. It was all your doing."

    2nd grader dyslexic / ADHD student's Mom

  • "Yesterday she read me sentences from a book she had never read. It was like proper reading. I was shocked."

    4th grader dyslexic student's Mom

  • "You're a key part of this journey. Let's keep creating with purpose and heart."

Real Results That Matter

Our families see measurable progress:

  • 77+ point gains on iReady assessments

  • Children reading on grade level who were previously behind

  • Drastic attitude changes toward reading and academics

  • School recognition of improved skills and confidence

  • Students going from struggling to thriving in their classrooms

But the numbers only tell part of the story. The real transformation is in the joy children feel when they finally "get it." When reading clicks, confidence soars, and they ask for bookshelves in their rooms.
